STORY DESCRIPTIONS:

Crusader Rabbit: A homeless man and a drug-addicted boy on the mean streets of Oakland, California discover the value of life and find renewal and hope in each other.

The Resurrection: A young boy discovers that there are more ways to die than in a physical sense. But though life may be hard, there is always hope if one chooses to keep hope alive.

Animal Rights: Animals should have rights, too. But it seems that the way to really start caring for and protecting the animals of this world would be to first care for all our world's children.

Phat Acceptance: It is no longer acceptable in this society to openly hate and ridicule gays, blacks, other minorities, yet it is still perfectly acceptable to hate, bully, and ridicule fat kids.

The Execution: Are all young black males under a death sentence... to be carried out in a "humane" and "civilized" way?

Spontaneous Combustion: Two boys living with their mother in a haunted mansion find that racism is far from dead in the U.S.A. and is much more dangerous than an unburied ghost.

Child Of All Ages: Set in Haiti, this is a story of a young man's quest through hopeless slums and tangled jungles to find his roots as well as his spiritual destiny.

Dreamtime Story: Set in the Australian outback, this is a coming-of-age story in which a young white boy journeys alone into the desert and earns his manhood through the Aboriginal ceremony of Walkabout.

Esu's Island: Set on a tiny island off the coast of Haiti, this story is about a Voodu coming-of-age-ceremony in which a young white boy becomes a participant. There are much harder ordeals to become a man than simply getting one's driver's license.

When All Goes Bright: Set in Africa, this story deals with child soldiers and the power that forces wars upon children.

The Picture: Can you sell your soul to the Devil in exchange for a lifetime of fortune and fame? And, if you do, can the Devil use you to collect other souls?
